Car loaded up with potted bulbs to share with friends today.

@Former-Member, what kind of bulbs? 🙂

Looking forward to seeing the ones I've brought home from Mum's collection flowering. I think some will be common ones, but she bought a lot of bulbs from specialist growers too. There may be some rather unusal ones among it. Some of the potfuls are badly overcrowded, so probably won't flower until they've been given some room to grow.

Definite Dutch iris, saffron crocus, the rest are 'mystery bulbs' is a mix of tulips, mini Dutch iris, possible gladioli - bulbs salvaged when Mr Darcy emptied pots of dormant bulbs. My newer tulips and some fresias went to understanding friend.

🙂 They're all the kinds of things that grow well here. You must be in a very cool-ish part of the state. Will they grow at your new location?

Quite possibly @Smc, will soon see what if any spring flowering bulbs are in situ in the garden. I have got the contact details of the local garden club and will see what they have happening.

I will of course have the pleasure of exploring garden centres within cooee of our new domice. A local one has a recommended cafe on site.
