Help with BPD in Melbourne
Hi, I think my wife is exhibit strong symptoms of BPD and it is effecting our 16 year old daughter. My wife is very angry and defensive and she blames me for everything that is apparently wrong. I am looking for help on how to deal with it. I have been to the GP's and psychologists and their advice is always that I should get out of the relationship and stay away completely. I am wondering if there is anyone in Melbourne who is prepared to help me and see if there is a better solution.
Does anyone have experience in successfully getting someone suffering like my wife to seek help? Can I get any tips from anyone?

Re: Help with BPD in Melbourne
Good morning @Peru.
It's nice to hear you are looking for alternatives to help your wife other than leaving the relationship. The most helpful resource is probably an organisation called Spectrum (https://www.spectrumbpd.com.au/). They specialise in BPD in Victoria and are located in Richmond. Their website is quite comprehensive and includes information on treatment options, and resources, supports, and strategies for you and your family to cope better with this challenging situation.
Best of luck and keep reaching out for support
