@greenpea you may need many visits to the acupuncturist to get the meridians to "stick" so don't worry if youre asked by the GP to come back in another day or so for up to 2-3 weeks. The first visit you will have to tell them your health history also including your recent hospitalisation.  You will love what acupuncture does for you.  Mention your sleep issues and the type of insomnia youre having so the GP knows where to put the needles
