Re: Hi everyone:)
hi @Jessicap22 and welcome
well done for reaching out for some support!
I can share some of your experiences with you including being bullied, self harm. hospital admissions and also an Eating disorder. i also have ptsd and anxiety amongst other things so i can relate to what you might be going through to an extent.
It would be a great idea to have a chat with your gp about seeing a psychologist and a psychiatrist (sorry if youve said you see one currently i cant see all the posts without loosing this one) a psychologist is good to talk about emotions and coping strategies whilst psychiatrists maininly focus on the medication side of things.
As someone who has an ED, i would really reccommend a service called The Butterfly Foundation. They have been helpful to me and have both phone or webchat. Theyre specialised in Eating Disorders.
Support for Eating Disorders and Body Image Issues | Butterfly Foundation
Other services include Sane, Lifelife or Beyond Blue.
Headspace, Reachout and Kidshelpline are designed more for those under 25 however they have quite abit of information about eating disorders, ways to cope, different dignoses as well and might be worth having a look at too.

Re: Hi everyone:)
Hi @Jessicap22 !
Sorry to hear about the hardships you've been through and your mistreatment by the system.
It's good that you seem to have some avenue of hope with the upcoming lawyer consultation you mention. I hope that ultimately leads you to some real solutions for your problems.
However, if you can't get any satisfaction from the lawyer, another route of inquiry you might be interested in is the various patient advocacy organizations that are out there. They vary state-by-state. Here are the ones I know of:
www.vmiac.org.au (VIC)
www.being.org.au (NSW)
www.comhwa.org.au (WA)
They are very familiar with the problem of patients being mistreated and/or neglected by the mental health system and I'm sure they would be able to give you much better advice then I ever could. Even if your from some other state/territory, I'm sure they could give you some good advice about who is available to help you in your area.
