Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Dear @Shaz51 ... you have been very quiet on this lately, and I have been concerned about your health. I have seen you around some other threads, offering your usual quiet support to members. But you just havent been your usual beautiful self. And well ... I'm worried about you. 🤗
Wondering how your Mum is getting along ... that infection must surely be clearing up by now? And Mr Shaz ... is he becoming more agreeable to the prospect of semi-retirement in the near future?
Any results yet from your blood and tissue testing for kidney donor compatability?
How are all the extended family, step-family?
I notice you have been saying that you need to drink plenty of water for your kidney. Of course drinking plenty of water is good for all sorts of reasons in general. But once people start on kidney dialysis for renal failure ... fluids need to be severely limited between dialysis treatments. So if you do need to commence dialysis in future, that might take some getting used to I imagine.
Anyway, like @Former-Member , I am just checking in with you.
Sending love and hugs your way.
Sherry 💕🤗

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Oh ... oops! I was in the process of compiling my post to you, got interrupted and then by the time I finally posted, you had already gotten a post in before me. @Shaz51 Please ignore my previous post, I think you have covered most things I was asking. Sorry about that. Thanks for the update.
Sherry 💕

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Hey @Shaz51
It seems as if you are being showered with kidneys right now - something has to fit - how great
Your poor Mum and the wound on her arm - I can't really tell how serious it is but if your Mum could get by without having it cauterized again that would be the best for her - I'm sure you feel that way too
I am so sorry - that has to be tough for you - you want the best for her but she is so tired
And you are right about Mr Shaz - he will cope in his own way even if he has to go to bed a lot to manage it - I hear you
Wishing you the best - and Mr Shaz and Your Mum and Poor Little Kidney
Sending hugs and best wishes
Dec
