A friend of our Younger Son's offered to help dry dishes after his 18th B'day party (a couple of years ago now). She casually mentioned that she never did it at home because they had a dishwasher. So I made her feel right at home by telling her the one she was drying was an antique, and the one she'd finished just before it was a wedding pressie. 😄 Aren't I lovely? (She finished the job with no mishaps.)

I have just popped the doona back on our bed as it has been a bit cooler the last couple of nights @Sophie1. Did watch some of Q&A with Mr D but might do a bit of reading.

We had a couple of really hot Summer like days but tonight it's quite cool. Just had my daughter over for dinner so that was nice. Hope you've all had pleasant enough days.
