Re: Tillogram

I am sorry that you still have some less than ideal responses to some things @tyme

I don't think it's a "minor" thing though, because it's a fairly common place occurrence.

I also have some usually quick and minor responses to sirens but that's work related to a few of my jobs. I sometimes can't watch some things on TV because it's too stressful, but you know that's PTSD, I'm by far not the only one.

Re: Tillogram

I agree @Till23 . We are all hit with our own traumas whether we like it or not. I think because able to talk about it in a safe way can be so helpful. I'm so glad we have one another. I feel that we are all learning on this journey, and this journey will continue until the last day.

Thank you so much for being here.

Re: Tillogram

11 degrees @Shaz51 so you're saying it was a hot winter's day 🤣

Very windy, rainy and cold here. I stayed in bed late so I could feel warm without using up my firewood! When I got up - I chopped some more, so that kept me warm as well as picking up all the fallen fronds and branches blown down by the wind!

Sorry about the aches and pains. Do you know what's wrong with your foot. Hope you've got some good analgesia

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @tyme I don't know that I add that much, but I am here I suppose.

I think talking about it is a very worthwhile step in healing, especially if you can do it at your own pace and in a safe and accepting space.

Thank you for walking on my journey for a bit

Re: Tillogram

Ha ha @Till23

It was cold here last night

Has the rain and wind stopped yet xx

Not sure which complications I have is causes these aches and pains

Stay warm my friends 🧡

Re: Tillogram

We are learning on this journey @tyme @Till23

Re: Tillogram

I agree. I won't even pretend to know I more than I know.. because there's a lot I don't know! I'm learning as much as anyone else.

@Shaz51 @Till23

I'm just watching this at the moment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyxc889gQtY

What might happen if instead of fighting with or avoiding our difficult thoughts and feelings, we imagine them as 'monsters on a boat', and willingly take them with us as we navigate life's difficult waters? Find out more in this entertaining clip from Dr. Russ Harris's Happiness Trap Online ...

Re: Tillogram

Still raining @Shaz51 wind has eased a bit - supposed to ease over night.

I hope the sun comes out tomorrow. I am missing the feel of sun on my skin.

I hope you are able to get on top of the pain

Re: Tillogram

Thanks @tyme I just watched that - interesting and kernels of truth but not as straightforward to achieve as it seems. Still a starting place

Re: Tillogram

I understand. I am sure rest is really important right now. When will you delve into your regular routine again? Or will you change some things this time around to better suit where you're at post-trip? @Till23 💛
