Hi @Former-Member I was very active on the Forums - until starting this job, 10 months ago.
I've been employed Casual through an Agency, for the entire 10 months.
To be offered this Permanent Position (that I've just been offered) - I had to Apply for an advertised Position.
The Permanent Position is exactly the same as my Current Job Role, that I've been working in for the past 10 months.
It's supposed to be Full-Time, as they only Advertise for & only Recruit Full-Time Employees.
I've asked the Manager if it's possible for me to Commence working as Permanent Part-Time (instead of Full-Time), due to my significant physical health limitations (I did not elaborate).
I've been left with no response from the Manager for the past 7 days, since then.
The uncertainty is somewhat unnerving.
My Area Supervisor seems Confident that they will still take me on as Permanent Part-Time, 4 days per week.
An increase of 1 day per week, from the 3 days per week that I've been working (past 10 months).
Thanks.
Adge

Thanks so much @Former-Member
I had to chase it up today.
I knew something was not right.
As the Manager had promised me the Paperwork/ Contract 7 days ago.
I had received nothing.
Today the Manager had done a complete turnaround.
He said Full-time or nothing - We won't even consider taking you on as Permanent Part-time.
So I was then faced with the impossible dilemma that is not workable, that does not meet my needs.
I said Yes because I felt backed into a corner with no other feasible options.
This may have substantial negative impacts - There are physical health reasons for my working only part-time hours.
As well as my only emotional support- My Psychology appointment being booked on the non working week day.
